Wait, since when? If it's about that update regarding being able to use Gamecube controllers on the Switch, that's not exactly confirmation. Likewise I don't think the Nvidia Shield getting Gamecube/Wii games is confirmation for Switch.

That's not outright confirming that VC titles are coming to the Switch though. It just means there's a likelihood of it coming to the Switch.

I think what they mean is even if it's more powerful, that doesn't mean we'll get 3DS VC on the Switch. Maybe ports or through emulation though.

Dude, that's not what matter here. Did you even think twice about this? 3DS is an ongoing console with new games to come out for some years. Nintendo use to do stupid things, but they'd never commit suicide.

Absolutely not, homebrew and rom loading are gonna be developed on >= 3.0 and one day a kernel exploit will come to 4.1 and you will benefit from the already existing homebrews
so yeah no point in waiting knowing we don't even have hombrew on exploitable systems
