The irony. Everybody remembers what set off the Floyd protests, it was the murder of George Floyd. January 6th wouldn't have happened if not for Trump lying about the election results.

He didn't lie, Joe Biden didn't get 81 million votes (most all time ever) by sitting in his basement and not even campaigning. Trump's was the second highest highest all time and he still lost by 7 or 8 million. Biden defeated Obama's highest votes by 15 million. A lot of Democrats don't even like Joe Biden. Total fraud, but keep only believing in CNN which are proven liars. They may as well have a channel from the tooth fairy.

Do Democrats forget that Nancy Pelosi and others were on TV in the Summer of 2020 encouraging Black Lives Matter to riot and cause chaos? Where's their charges? Oh that doesn't fit the agenda huh.

I guess to some of you it's cool to attack innocent businesses and people just as long as you don't go in the Capitol. I remember when Democrats didn't worship Government they rebelled against it. Now you all pander to the Democrat Party many of you supported Ukraine when you probably never heard of Ukraine before the war. Grow some balls, fuck the Government.
Doesn't even matter if this is all true, because this whataboutism doesn't change the fact that the guy with 91 charges and his goons tried to unlawfully overturn an election.

If theirs was the final decision which allowed Trump on the ballot, and he did either of those things as a result, absolutely. For the twentieth time, this isn't about political affiliation. It's about enforcing a very important part of the constitution which maintains democracy.

It is black and white. No running for office after you've demonstrated a willingness to use violence and terrorism to get what you want. Why? Because you're guaranteed to use it again, duh. If the Supreme Court justices "disagree" with enforcing the constitution, then they have no business being on the bench in the first place, and they're still entirely responsible for the fallout caused by their negligent decisions.
It's simply not black and white and you are extremely disingenuous

If it was so black and white then top judges would all agree on the same thing

They aren't, because guess what it's not - no matter what fantasy land you are living in

Until Trump ran Republican Democrats absolutely loved him, blacks loved him New York loved him. If he was still a Democrat and did nothing different you'd all still love him. Know how I know? You don't care about Biden corruption just Trump. It proves that brainwashing does indeed work.

Those basing their decisions entirely on the text of the constitution do all agree. Those acting out of fear, partisan zealotry, or sheer stupidity are all scrambling to try to change the established definition of words like "officer." Regardless, they won't be able to avoid responsibility if their anal-retentive semantics cause the end of the US as we know it. No excuse will be good enough at that point.

Delusional. Nobody has ever really liked that starfucker, but some people liked his money enough to tolerate his presence.

any evidence or again spouting conspiracies???

Read the dissent if you think this is out of fear - a DEMOCRAT appointed judge wrote this

"One of the bedrock principles of American democracy [is] our government cannot deprive someone of the right to hold public office without due process of law."

"The decision to bar former President Donald J. Trump—by all accounts the current leading Republican presidential candidate(and reportedly the current leading overall presidential candidate) from Colorado’s presidential primary ballot flies in the face of the due process doctrine"

Does this honestly seem like someone doing this out of fear, or perhaps someone more educated than both of us using his brain and his office to keep to his principles and uphold the constitution he swore to protect??

causes mass rioting and violence by claiming the election was again stolen from him
In 2020 the mass riots were caused by BLM, but talking politics here isn't much of a use since most are left-leaning than a neutral view.

That said, I'd like to see RFK Jr. win the election though we'll have to see.

Anyway, that's all. Not gonna spend hours replying to others like some users do.

Yes, 100%. You can't claim to be "protecting democracy" by allowing a wannabe-dictator to run for office, and his opinion that the 14th amendment requires a conviction is just plain incorrect. Little bit of fear, little bit of stupidity.

The riots were caused by Derek Chauvin. No murder, no protests. No protests, no agitators to escalate into riots.

So again conspiracies with no evidence

If you ever find any evidence I will be waiting

Dare you to click play watch it and say it never happened again. Yes of course it happened, either you weren't paying attention or hoped some of us would forget.

That's one thing you never do is claim something definitively when you can be proven stupid doing it.

What even are these videos? Did someone fall for really bad AI?

Maybe we don't care about Biden corruption because it doesn't exist. Republicans can't even agree on what it is. They are trying to muddy the waters with the accusations against Biden because:
  1. They want to impeach Biden to devalue the impeachment process because Trump being impeached twice is bad optics for the republicans and to justify an impeachment they feel they have to have a reason, fabricated or not.

  2. The republican party knows they can't shake Trump because the base loves him, so instead they embraced him. But to embrace him they have to act like he's not as bad as he is. Otherwise he has no chance at being elected by moderate republicans and swing voters.

  3. To justify supporting Trump, to the electorate and perhaps even to themselves, they can't undo Trump's crimes or make him less fascist and corrupt so instead they muddy the waters, making everyone else look corrupt too, weaken our institutions and devalue the processes for accountability, like impeachment.

Samour's dissent is predicted to play a large part in the SCOTUS analysis, because Samour actually looked at more of the 14th Amendment than anyone else seems to have done so far:

It reminds me when last year you had those crazy lefty mongs trying to intimidate the supreme court justices after Roe vs Wade was overturnded and the DOJ remained silent.

https://www.nationalreview.com/corn...wless-intimidation-of-supreme-court-justices/

I wonder if the DOJ will remain silent again or if you'll see even more two tier justice in the tinpot dictatorship that is now prevalent in the USA, land of the free (if you have enough money or are a democrat).

While I think any threats are pointless and deserve to be punished to the full extent of the law, the two cases are quite different. One is the proper usage of the constitution to prevent someone from getting power who should never be given it, the other is taking away people's rights (After multiple judges directly lied and said they wouldn't).

One is deserving of anger, whereas the other is upholding the constitution.

Although, I'm sure you'll see it differently. Your takes on most topics here seem to be...."special".
