I left the 360 a couple of minutes booting ("glitching") and then restarted it if i didn´t get it working. As you can imagine i ended up leaving the machine on if there was a game i wanted to play asidually.

Yes i´m a little behind this team xecuter hack. What i dont´get is what exactly has been proven, since the keys are supposed to be unique for each switch console.

For me it was instant boot 99% of the times in the first dates, then it went down drastically in time (around 15% at the end, maybe lower) Sorry for the double post.

The 360's of mine i modded with cr4xl and slimprotov2's instabooted on standard settings, im speaking seconds after you hit the power button lol.

what's the success rate on every boot with rgh? 99%? or something less, like 60%?

1st gen Coolrunner, unoptimized wiring, RGH1 on a falcon.
Very rarely refuses to boot, as in the bootanim freezing (100 certain it's due to the wire being close to the MOSFETs) but a quick powercycle boots it in 1-2 glitch cycles every time.

Modern programmable chips + breakout are not that bad (some of the smaller FPGAs like https://www.mouser.co.uk/productdet...tJSx%2bsXiPMpKsjmJt1WzU2IpkvFewE%2bVQa0PkJQ== are sub 1 cm squared range, the one linked being 8mm by 8mm, though probably not as standalone).
Looking at https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nintendo+Switch+Teardown/78263 around/on top of the battery you could probably get some space. Added bonus for that is you are right next to the CPU, RAM and other good stuff.
Would not be unprecedented to have a full new backplate built either.

If memory serve me right, Nvidia pretty much give out everything for free with Jetson TX1(you don't need a unit to access them, I am not even sure you need an account on Nvidia Dev Forum). That alone can provide lots of information.
At this rate Nintendo should sue Nvidia for failing to provide a truly custom chip.

Well some people really want backups, even just for not having cartridges to take with them all the time.
Cartridges here are costing 10-20 bucks less than eShop versions on Amazon.
Also with that 5.0.0 update (if it's real) we'll likely get an RTP option in the SDK, so voice chat working with SIP on homebrew, if the chip really is future-proof.

I don't understand why piracy seems to be so naturally for so many people. I really want the CFW to dump MY games and being able to play MY dumps. I hate it to swap the games if I want to play something else, and being able to launch backups would make it a lot easier for me.
And no, I'm not gonna buy games digitally, since you don't really buy a game and instead you pay for the right to USE that software from the eShop (which can be revoked everytime accourding to the EULA), and it's also a robbery if you compare the eShop prices to the physical copy ones.
Also I'm really glad I can give my money to TX. They deserve it, in contrast to that beardless, metally disabled man childs of the self-proclaimed "hacker scene" who are teasing their "unique" work on twitter to get the attention they lack so much IRL.

I have no shame to admit that the reason #1 is indeed piracy. Sure, homebrew is amazing and some apps are crazy useful. Emulators will be amazing (oh boi ps1 harry potter here i go).

Hacked my phone, PSP, Vita, 3DS and now will hack the Switch. I won't use the "backup" excuse because that's bullshit. I pirate because im still a college student, once i get my own income the story will be different.

Some games do deserve my money tho, and i have lots of titles on the Switch now that i purchased. Zelda, Mario, Stardew, Gungeon, Shovel Knight and some more.

I for one am shit at soldering and all that. If the installation of this "TX mod" is too complicated for my tiny brain, i'll just say fuck it and wait for an easier solution.

Easy to do, no repercussions in some countries, saves you money to buy things you actually need. Sure, you don't NEED games, but for some of us they're one of the few things that still makes us happy. Buying games is simply a bad investment, apart from some limited editions, which are only profitable in the really long term.
I pretty much stopped buying games, but I didn't buy many anyways, due to the high prices and I was still in school and saving money for the future. Right now I'm saving to buy a house, therefore I pirate. I've even been postponing buying a PS3 to pirate for ages.
But, as an example, I bought the limited edition of Steins;Gate for PS3 despite the fact I don't own one. This is not only because I'm a big fan of the series, but also because the figure that comes with it, once it stops being sold, is worth about 5x the price of the whole thing. With time the price will increase, obviously.

20 hour long Mario Odyssey (that is 75$ around here) costs exactly 80% of my rent + electricity + water + internet.
A single game.

I never pirate PC games tho (and I surely can do like 99% of them excluding online only) because steam does appropriate pricing policy.
